Ruben Hyppolite II is a native Floridian who thrives in being a game changer on and off the field. On the field Ruben’s role, as a Middle Linebacker for The University of Maryland, has allowed many opportunities to showcase his talents; be an inspiration for others and build self confidence to empower his development. He believes there’s always room for improvement and uses communication as a tool for building relationships and strengthening team performances.

As a Honor Roll Graduate, from McArthur Senior High School / Hollywood, FL. Ruben became a member of the Super 11, First Team All State, First Team All County, ESPN 300, awarded MVP Ray Lewis Camp, and participated in the International All American Bowl. He helped lead the Mustangs to a 10-2 record his Senior season with the following stats: over 100 tackles, 50 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 8 pass break ups, 1 interception and 1 touchdown.

Ruben committed to The University of Maryland in Spring of 2019 and enrolled in Spring of 2020. Off the field, while attending UMD, Ruben continues to excel receiving recognition as a great student athlete, team leader and prominent player.
